RBS card holders face charge

The Royal Bank of Scotland is to charge its credit card customers if they do not inform it of a change of address. The bank says it will charge £12 if an address alteration is not made before two statements are sent to the old address - a period of up to 60 days. It is also planning to treat card purchases of items which it calls "cash equivalent products" as cash advances. The Royal Bank of Scotland is planning to charge its credit card customers if they fail to give notice that they are changing address. The bank says it will charge £12 if customers do not inform it of a new address within 60 days. It is also planning to treat card purchases of items which it calls "cash equivalent products" as cash advances. Airmiles switches credit cards

Around two million NatWest credit card holders will no longer be able to collect Airmiles from 1 June. NatWest is changing its rewards scheme in favour of a tie-up with online travel agent ebookers and easyJet. Customers will not lose the miles they have accumulated - they will stay in the accounts held directly by Airmiles.
