SYDNEY (XFN-ASIA) - The US dollar was firmer against the yen but weaker against the euro in thin afternoon trade here due to the Presidents Day holiday in the US and this week's Lunar New Year holidays in Asia, dealers said. SYDNEY (XFN-ASIA) - The US dollar was trading mixed against major currencies in holiday-affected morning trade here, dealers said. They said currencies were rangebound due to the long weekend in the US and the Lunar New Year holidays in Asia, and are expected to remain so until markets reopen in the US tomorrow.
