HONG KONG (Dow Jones) -- China will allow its domestic currency to be traded over the counter in the interbank spot foreign-exchange market from Wednesday, the People's Bank of China said on a statement on its web site. LONDON (Dow Jones) -- The dollar weakened on Tuesday ahead of minutes from the Federal Open Market Committee's December interest-rate meeting, as traders bet on whether there would be signals that the U.S. rate-hike cycle is on its last leg.
