Xstrata profit jumps on commodity prices

LONDON (Reuters) - First-half earnings at Xstrata (XTA.L: Quote, Profile, Research) rose 42 percent on higher commodity prices, a stronger dollar and efficiency gains, the Swiss-based company said on Wednesday.
