Hospital 'failed cancer patients'

A hospital put scores of breast cancer patients at risk by missing out a vital part of the treatment, the BBC learns. Bradford NHS Trust failed to give up to 150 women radiotherapy after they had tumours removed in the 1980s and 1990s, according to BBC One's Panorama. Cancer expert Professor Michael Baum says this failure means "about a 30% chance of the disease coming back". EWING, New Jersey (AP) -- Authorities planned Saturday to search two Pennsylvania landfills for a missing college student after his blood was found in and around a trash bin outside his dormitory. Seven injured in motorway crash

Seven people, including three children, have been taken to hospital after a car accident on the M2 motorway. The crash, which is thought to have involved two cars, happened at about 1600 BST on Saturday near the Sandyknowes roundabout. Three women and a man are among those injured. A representative of the company that hired a tour boat which capsized off Bahrain, killing at least 57 people, has insisted his firm was not to blame. Manager Simon Hill, who survived the disaster, said the construction firm Nass-Murray and Roberts had told the captain not to sail if it was unsafe.
