LONDON (Reuters) - House price inflation picked up to an annual 3.3 percent in September from 2.8 percent the month before, the government said on Monday. The Office for the Deputy Prime Minister said the average house price in September stood at 186,723 pounds compared with 186,208 pounds in August. It said house price inflation rose in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, but fell in Scotland.
