NEW YORK (Dow Jones) - IndyMac Bancorp Inc. said Monday said it's considering an initial public offering for its Financial Freedom Senior Funding Corp. as net income at the reverse mortgage unit doubled in the first quarter. THE boss of Barclays has taken out a mortgage with rival HSBC, it has emerged. Chief executive John Varley mortgaged his £1.5m London townhouse with HSBC last year, according to a Sunday newspaper. The bank's finance director and deputy chairman have also taken out mortgages elsewhere, at Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB.
