First time buyers face tough times

By David Burrows LONDON (Reuters) - First-time buyers are finding it ever more difficult to get their foot on the property ladder, according to research from lender Paragon Mortgages. A Paragon survey of mortgage advisers found that the proportion of first-time buyer loans arranged declined from 11 percent of the total six months ago to 9 percent now.
