Nationally, the UK saw an increase in insolvencies of 19.7 per cent in the same period.In total, 295 Yorkshire and Humber companies entered insolvency in the fourth quarter, compared to 203 in the same period of 2004. The number of individual insolvencies jumped 57.1 percent in the fourth quarter compared with a year earlier to a seasonally adjusted 20,461, the Department of Trade and Industry said on Friday.
