LONDON (AFX) - The average house price in the UK for first time buyers rose 11 pct in 2006 from 2005, according to research published by Halifax. In its annual review, Halifax said first-time home buyers are now paying an average price of 151,565 stg, up from 137,122 stg in 2005.
