Germany on Wednesday became the latest country to issue inflation-linked bonds, taking advantage of the strong demand for assets that protect investors against rising consumer prices. // For the first time, the country issued €5.5bn of inflation-linked bonds, or linkers, at a real yield over inflation of 1.543 per cent.
